Natural Gas bills may seem to be very
straight forward, however, there are more variables involved with these
statements than any other type of utility. Volume multipliers, weather adjustments, and opaque, non-itemized charges on the monthly statements make it difficult to decipher exactly what is being paid for unless one is familiar with the market rates as they fluctuate on a near daily basis and the regulatory tariffs appropriate for each natural gas provider. UCMC Consultants have the experience and expertise necessary to understand the natural gas needs of our clients and place an emphasis on reducing gas expenditures. For example, natural gas requirements and cost reduction opportunities which may be available for a community college may be completely different from a large manufacturer. We follow through with each client to identify on-going savings by: 1. Analyze current available rates and tariffs comparing to clients present rates. 2. Review consumption patterns for each utility to determine any inconsistencies or flags. 3. Provide a cost comparison for each rate schedule you qualify. 4. Check meters for accuracy and compare with actual bill for each meter. 5. Verify efficiency of usage and equipment. 6. Securing refunds for any billing errors. 7. Provide a written report detailing our findings and the recommended course of action. |
