	References Experience Contact	There are no up front fees or retainers. The utility audit is performed for you and your company without cost or obligation. Utility Cost Management Consultants works for you on a performance basis which means we will split the savings we find for you 50-50. This applies to any one-time refunds, credits and on-going savings. When savings are identified and paid all money is received by you and you are invoiced separately for any portion we earn for you. Although we handle all the paperwork for you, you remain in total control of each of your utility accounts and handle all accounting and/or payments. The term of our contract varies according to your needs. After the term of the contract is completed all savings go directly to you. Our initial service often involves three basic steps: 1. Check one or two years of utility bills for numerous errors. If errors are found, we recover the overcharges as far back as the statute allows, from the time the error was first made. The refunds from errors are dependent upon the current regulations and the statute that covers them. 2. We further determine whether there are other rate schedules which would reduce your costs. We provide you an analysis of forecasted savings from our in-depth review to help determine which accounts should change to different schedules. 3. We also look at possible modifications to your facilities which would reduce your costs and provide conservative estimates of savings from such changes.
